Make the switch to First State Bank of St. Charles

First State Bank of St. Charles makes it easy to move your account. We offer many options and will help you choose from our convenient accounts!

1) OPENING YOUR ACCOUNT

Download and complete the New Account Information form and bring it in to any of our locations along with a valid id and proof of address.

2) THE SWITCHING PROCESS

We will help you switch your direct deposits and automatic withdrawals affecting your current account. Simply download and complete an Authorization to Change Direct Deposit / Auto Withdrawal for each transaction. We will mail the form(s) and monitor your new account for completion.

3) CLOSING YOUR OLD ACCOUNT

Begin using your new account right away. We will forward the Request to Close Account forms to your previous financial institution after approximately 30 days (to allow for check clearing and deposits / withdrawals to switch.) Any remaining funds will be forwarded to your new account.
