C.O.P.S. Missouri Chapter Receives Donation from First State Bank Mortgage

LAKE OZARK, MISSOURI – April 14, 2015 – The Missouri chapter of C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) recently received a donation from local mortgage lender First State Bank Mortgage. A check for $750 was presented to C.O.P.S. representative Annette Jansen on April 9th by local mortgage professionals Michael and Michelle Lasson, Bob O'Steen and Tom Spradling. The donation amount represents the proceeds of a special promotion First State Bank Mortgage held in the month of February to raise support and funds for the C.O.P.S. organization.

“We are excited and proud to partner with C.O.P.S. on these two special programs, which will help support the families of local first responders who keep us safe every day,” said Daniel Simpson, senior vice president and director of mortgage operations at First State Bank. “These donations will go to help the surviving families and coworkers of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our safety.”

The national C.O.P.S. organization, located in Camdenton, Mo., provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.

First State Bank Celebrates America Saves Week with Account Promotion, Bonus

SAINT CHARLES, MISSOURI – February 25, 2015 – First State Bank of St. Charles has pledged to celebrate America Saves Week by participating in the St. Louis Saves Challenge and providing an account bonus for customers who choose to begin a saving plan.

February 23 marked the kick-off of the national initiative America Saves Week, which involves local and national organizations coming together to promote long-term savings and financial education. “As a community bank, we feel it is important to contribute to this initiative,” said Luanne Cundiff, First State Bank president. “Beginning on Monday, we will be rolling out a new promotion aimed at offering bonuses for savings accounts opened at our branches to those who are motivated to begin a savings plan.”

Customers who open a new savings account may open the account for only $50. If the balance of the account is at least $100 after 90 days, First State Bank will deposit $25 into account.

In addition, First State Bank is offering helpful tips and articles about savings on their website and social media pages in an effort to increase customers’ knowledge about the importance of savings.

First State Bank of St. Charles was voted the #1 Lender and Financial Planner in St. Charles County in 2014.

*New customers are eligible and current customers who do not currently have a savings account with First State Bank may also receive the $25 bonus.

First State Bank Mortgage Pledges Donations to C.O.P.S.

LAKE OZARK, MISSOURI – February 2, 2015 – Local lender First State Bank Mortgage has pledged to donate $50 to Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc. (C.O.P.S.) for each loan application during the month of February that ultimately results in a closed loan.

In addition, First State Bank Mortgage is offering $250 off closing costs for any first responders who submit a loan application during the month of February which ends in a closed loan.

“We are excited and proud to partner with the Missouri chapter of C.O.P.S. on these two special programs, which will help support the families of local first responders who keep us safe every day,” said Daniel Simpson, senior vice president and director of mortgage operations at First State Bank. “These donations will go to help the surviving families and coworkers of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our safety.”

The national C.O.P.S. organization, located in Camdenton, Mo., provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty, and provides training to law enforcement agencies and the public on the need to further support law enforcement and its survivors.

These two programs apply to loans which are taken in the month of February and ultimately close, and which are originated in the Lake Ozark regional office.
